Xenotes Tour
On this tour you will visit multiple types of cenotes (I believe it’s 5 different ones) with a fun and informative tour guide. This tour is a popular favorite with visitors and I agree! You’ll have a lot of fun sliding, zip lining, rappelling, kayaking, jumping and swimming into various cenotes. Lunch, beer and wine are included with this tour.
- Time: 8:40am-6pm
- Reservations are required.

Xcaret
A large park with more than 50 attractions including underground rivers, horses, an aviary, live shows, and a coral reef aquarium.
FYI the theater was extremely hot and packed, make sure you get there early if you decide to go and be prepared to sweat a lot.
- No reservations are required, unless you chose to have dinner with the show.

Xel-Há
A natural park that includes everything from snorkeling, zip lining, food, hammocks, amazing scenery, parrots and a crazy tall waterslide tower. You can also walk or bike through the trails of the jungle. Food and drinks are included during your visit. Keep in mind that it will be crowded during high season.
- Time: 7am -7pm
- Reservations are required.
Xplor / Xplor Fuego
Fly down the highest zip-lines in the Riviera Maya, drive amphibious vehicles in the jungle, and swim/raft through underground rivers and stalactite caves. Xplor Fuego offers the same activities as Xplor, with fires that light up the night!
There is no alcohol at this park, but there are soft drinks and a buffet included.
It does get busy so be prepared to stand on some lines. A tip is to check the signs they have in the park that will tell you how long the waits are for each activity.
- Buses run all day every 20-30 minutes from the resort
- Xplor Fuego begins at 5:30pm
- No reservations are required.
Xoximilco
This is a traditional Mexican fiesta on a boat with lots of tequila! You’ll ride along a river through the jungle, while eating, dancing and singing with live music from the mariachi bands.
During this tour you will receive unlimited beer and tequila, a sampling dinner of traditional Mexican dishes, and a lot of fun with traditional Mexican games. By Mexican games, they mean receiving electric shocks while all holding hands! It gets pretty crazy on these boats, so be open to new experiences.
When we went, there seemed to be a lot of locals. We found out that this boat tour is a replica of a boat party they hold in Mexico City.
Tips: There will be complementary bug repellant, make sure you put a lot on! Use the bathroom before getting on the boat, since there are no bathrooms on the boat. It will be a long night.
- Time: 7pm pick up and you’ll return to the resort at 2am.
- Reservations are required.

Xenses
This park is full of sensory and optical illusion experiences. It’s located near the hotel so you can go whenever you’d like.
Click on the link above to learn more about this park.
- Time: The shuttles run every 20-30 minutes
- No reservations are required.

Tulum Tour / Xel-Há
On this tour you’ll visit the archaeological site of Tulum. This location is a historical Mayan ceremonial area and the only ruins that exist along the Mexican Caribbean coast.
After Tulum, you will head over to Xel-Há for the rest of the day.
- Time: 7am-7pm (If you want to head back to the hotel earlier you will have to pay for a taxi.)
- Reservations are required.

Xichén Tour
You will get an educational tour of the beautiful Chichén Itzá ruins. Light breakfast on the bus, buffet and beer / wine are included on this tour.
- Time: 7am-8/9pm (longest tour and located the furthest away from the resort)
- Reservations are required.
