Nashville Travel Guide

Stoney Clover Lane

Nashville has come a long way from being known for just country music. Although, you’ll still find tons of live country music up and down Broadway, Nashville has so much more to offer! Everything from amazing food, beautiful wall murals, boutique hotels and more. I’m going to dive into the best places to eat, take photos, shop and party (especially for the non country music lovers) in the city!

WHERE TO STAY
DOUBLE DECKER 3-STORY HOME ★ 360 ROOFTOP VIEWS!

If you are traveling with a large group (i.e. bachelorette / bachelor party) I definitely suggest staying at an Airbnb or Vrbo. There are endless amounts of homes / apartments available for rent, that are way more affordable than a hotel.

Being that I went for a bachelorette party, we opted for an Airbnb, and we loved it! Our Airbnb had a rooftop with amazing views of the city. We had to Uber to Downtown area, but it was only 8-10 min away. (Linked below)

Here are other stays we were considering:

There are always new builds popping up on Airbnb and Vrbo literally everyday so keep an eye out for a good deal!

If you’re looking to splurge, then I would highly recommend staying at Graduate Hotel. You’ll get more of a boutique feel with unique vibes and rooms. The rooftop bar is super cute with a pool too.

WHERE TO EAT IN NASHVILLE

I have to say we did not have one bad meal our whole stay there. I was definitely blown away by the restaurants and food options in Nashville. If you’re a foodie, you’ll definitely love it! Here are some of my best recommendations.

WHERE TO DRINK

If you are looking for some classy, Instagram worthy cocktails these are my top choices!

WHERE TO SHOP / MURALS

*Locations linked in bolded names*

So you can find a ton of murals scattered throughout the city of Nashville. If you want to go mural hunting and shop at the same time, I’d suggest heading to 12th Ave South. Start a little before Stoney Clover Lane and work your way down. Here you’ll also find restaurants (and cute shops). You’ll probably want to pop into a few for some AC since it gets so hot in Nashville!

My personal favorite mural was the blue and white stripes on the side of Draper James. It’s simple but makes a cute backdrop for photos. What Lifts You Wings

The infamous What Lifts You Wings mural is one you’ve probably seen on Instagram a lot. You can expect a line here for photo ops (when I passed by there were about 10 people waiting in line to shoot with it).

More Murals:

  • Flowers on 2900 12th Ave S, Nashville
  • Dragon on 224 Meridian St, Nashville
  • East Nashville on 600 Main St., Nashville
Downtown
WHERE TO PARTY

Broadway in Nashville is known as the go-to spot for party-goers. I’m going to warn you, it gets super crowded on the weekends so be prepared to wait in lines. When we went out on Thursday, it wasn’t bad, no lines really.

I’m going to share my personal favorites for dancing (non country music).

That’s all from my personal suggestions on Nashville. You can always check out more on any destination, docked in my highlights on Instagram! If you have any questions feel free to DM me on Instagram or leave a comment here.
